Staying cool on a really hot day
A calm plan for the hottest hours: light clothes, water, shade, and a quiet rest indoors, so a canceled outdoor plan does not turn into a meltdown.

The steps, one by one
- I check the thermometer with mom.
- I put on light, loose clothes.
- I put on my hat and sunglasses.
- I drink a big glass of water.
- I play in the shade.
- I rest inside during the hottest part of the day.
